Abs Light on

Hello all, my Mercedes 230 te has its abs light on permanently, checked the front sensors, they were dirty, so cleaned them up, replaced the ovp relay and still no joy, abs light firmly staying on, it is noticeably brighter then the other warning lamps when the ignition is turned on. when testing the ac voltage produced from the sensor, the non drivers side wheel took a bit more spinning to get the voltage to register compared to the drivers side, could this be the fault? running out of...
