Cabriolet owners - how do you look after it in the Winter months?

Hi all Cabriolet owners Hi I've got a CLK280 Cabriolet Sport AMG. I'm running it a fair weather fun car and I don't need to drive for work so I'm thinking about how best to look after it over the worst of the Winter months when it'll be driven only occassionally. I've got an all weather cover for it already. I guess when I use that I just wipe the car down dry and put it on. Will the hood develop damp mould/ green slime under it? Also it has a brand new battery, but even so I'm figuring... Cabriolet owners - how do you look after it in the Winter months?
