In case anyone has an undiagnosed vibration. I recently bought a 2003 S500 with 56K miles. It came with an intermittent high frequency vibration that you could feel throughout the car at varying speeds/RPM's. The seller had the problem diagnosed by the dealer and they said it was the transmission mount. Estimated dealer repair cost was to be $400-$500 (obviously, the dealer considers the job so complex that they can't give a fixed quote). I took that into consideration in the purchase...
