Preferred Tire Rotation Pattern for our (non-4matic) e320 Wagon ?

Hey all: I'm gonna do a 'driveway tire rotation' and was hoping to see how any of you wagon owners prefer to rotate youru tires - what pattern ? Also, sedan owners please comment too. There may be no difference with your cars - I'm glad to hear if there is. My wear is pretty nice & even - (after much fiddling with worn suspension bits over last 2 years).
