I am new to this forum and have a fair amount of knowledge previous with diesels and LS engines but new to the 335i. I got the car for a good deal as a project from a guy who said he had electronic difficulties and couldn't get it started.. Turns out after I did some research I had the red ELV light on the dash which I eventually learned how to use bimmergeeks tools and reset. Once reset, I now have a yellow light that is also for elv? My steering wheel moves freely. When I put the key in the car I can only roll windows up/down, use radio, and turn lights on. INPA indicates my ignition will not turn on. I pulled some codes with INPA and was wondering if theres a program to cross reference them, yes I researched before I posted haha! Anyways just wanted to give you all the most information possible about my problems.
