Just wanted to give a quick review of my results with the MHD flash.
I own a 2014 535i N55 with PWG system.
What i purchased from MHD:
-The new wireless black F obd adapter
-Flasher module (to flash the car) -in app
-Monitor module (for datalogging) -in app
-Stage 2 Map pack. -in app
I went with stage 2 for my car for a few reasons, i have the hardware to run stage 2, but didnt want to push peak power since this is a daily use car. So i felt stage 2 was the perfect middle ground for me instead of 2+
-Stage 2, 93 octane, 8AT trans option.
Plug the OBD in, connect to the app, once linked, purchase flasher and maps, choose map and octane you want to flash, choose trans, choose options,
Catless, burbles, startup roar, speed limiter etc. etc. and flash away!
I personally used my oem BMW charger, charged the car up overnight to max capacity and disconnected the charger. Since my battery is in good condition, fully charged on the oem battery charger, and im using the fast wireless OBD flasher, i didnt see a need for anything more.
Such a easy flasher and interface to use, no backup needed or anything. Dont need internet to flash aswell as this is excellent for me as at my vacation home, i dont have any internet service in certain areas.
My first full flash took 2 minutes and 35 seconds. Really amazingly fast.
My second flash after adding a few options to my tune, took just 35 seconds!!
Stage 2 on 93 octane feels really, really strong. Great snappy low end tq, and a really aggressive mid range that i love, and top end is so much better than before, makes the car feel so much more complete now.
I did a few logs but i will have to upload them on datazap to share them, but very clean logs,
timing looks great, no timing corrections, smooth boost hitting target, peaking around 14.8 in 3rd gear and 15.8 in 4th gear, HPFP fuel pressure is solid, wastgate looking smooth and good aswell.
Options i added to my tune as i kept it simple:
-Speed limit defeat
-Catless DP's (which is oem downpipes unchecked as the option)
I also love that the flash changes sports display HP (400HP) and TQ(480) gauges.
Overall, very happy 10/10 for this flash tune quality, interface and options.
Very Easy to use interface, very fast flashing, great versatility and options to add to the tune, and most importantly, you get a great quality, reliable tune.
