Friends 1994 S600, the aux fans do not work for engine temp. The fans work with AC to keep the gas pressure in check, (can see the gas pressure cycling on the CC readout) but they do not work to keep engine temp in check. Engine temp will creep way up in temp and the aux fans do not engage. He is getting the car on a code reader on the weekend, but I'm sure someone has had this exact same problem before. Help appreciated.

Turbocharging a Non turbo 617

I'm going to fit the Turbo off an OM602 to the 617 in my GWagen. Looking to pick the brain of anyone having done this mod. The actual physical install of the turbo, intercooler and all the relevant plumbing is not a problem. My main questions are around injector pump modifications. I'm not out to create great gobs of HP, I'm more interested in getting a little more usable torque. Any suggestions gratefully received

Lease end fee of $595

Hi, My lease is ending this month and MBFS informed me there is a $595 fee which I have to pay since I am not going into another Benz lease. Is there a way to avoid or reduce the fee? This is my 4th consecutive lease with MBFS but not feeling any courtesy coming my way.

300 CE Cabriolet - Active Bass

Hi, I just got a 1992 300 cabriolet with the option 814 - active bass. There is now an awful semi modern Pioneer head unit installed with lights flashing in varous colours and only the left dash speaker is working. Do i need to try and get hold of an original Becker 2000 unit to get the active bass speakers to work or can the actve bass amplifier be connected to another unit without advanced electrical skills? Thanks!
