Desperate help needed! My mechanic has left plenty of white dust under my analogue clock

Hi there Merc Lovers My mechanic after repairing my car's bumper has left alot of white dust under my analogue Mercedes and its really bothering me! The clock looks really awful! Please can you help me remove this the easiest way possible? Can I open the clock cover by removing the chrome ring around the clock? Thank you so much!
