ABS noice / warning light

Hello brothers I have an R230 2004 American imported I had an issue just after washing the car yesterday 😕 The abs started to make some cracking noice and there abs light come out And on the screen it's showing visit workshop warning brake light all red I'm assuming there is an issue with the brake pad wear sensor (( wet sensor )) I don't know But the abd surely will cost easy 500$ and I don't want to go through that asspain 😆 Please advice what to check And if it's the wear sensor so...
