What is best tool to separate lower bj arm from spindle (except MBZ tool or hammering )..

I am getting ready to do ball joints and want to be sure I have right tool for separating the lower bj arm from spindle.. I bought an OTC 8149 tool. Someone suggested OTC 6296. Any suggestions? Thanks
