My 1955 190SL (one of the first 50 produced), was recently involved in an MB dealership service workshop fire. I have not been given a full explanation but from what I could gather, something inside their service department caught fire. Multiple cars were physically burned. The entire structure became so hot the building was structurally compromised. They temporarily reinforced the structure and were able to roll all of the vehicles outside.
