Progress!

The 1958 Unimog I recently purchased initially had a 617 NA in it, but saw sold without any engine. I'd been on the hunt for a few weeks when I found a 1980 300SD locally, non running. The seller told me the car was purchased at auction, and needed a starter. We got it home, saw there was at least a starter on it, and decided to run some power to it to start diagnosing. To our surprise, the car actually started up and ran quite well! Other than a valve adjustment, what might be some... Progress!
