slk200 rear subframe

Hi Dave My 54 plate (reg October 2004) SLK 200 has just failed on this dreaded corrosion problem. Booked into local Merc dealer for assessment next week to see if it will be covered wholly by MB or at reduced cost. Any advice would be appreciated
