I've pulled the head on my 2006 S430 and found some scarring seen in the pictures below. I was advised to sand it smooth with high grit wet or dry sandpaper which I have done( I have a slight amount left). Hand sanded with 800 grit wet or dry for about 45 minutes. I have a straight edge arriving tomorrow. Anyone had this happen?
