W639 ABS and Driving control light on

Hi all, My 2006 w639 rear wheel drive Vito has both the ABS and the light that looks like a wheel with arrows on. If I am parked level the lights are on from start up, if I am parked facing down a slope the lights are off on start up but come on as soon as I move. Is it a wheel sensor? How do I test them? Had a look at one but it was stuck fast, any tips on removal? James
