I have a 2005 ckk 500 I bought with 103k miles. My problem was when shifted to reverse it would take a second or to to engage and acted very strange when I tried the manual shifting.
I did a transmission service installing an "upgraded pan" I put the white filler standoff as it seemed to be the same height as the old pan, green stand off was shorter.
Anyway after the service seemed to shift better but now its turned cold and shifting down shifting and up shifting a little hard until warmed...
