Collision damage - Hood doesn't open - Opinions?

Last week the wife rear-ended somebody in city traffic (a recent C-class). No injuries, fortunately, but the front of my E320 doesn't look as pretty as it used to. The car has almost 270k miles on it and was/is in good mechanical shape. I maintained it pretty well over the years, but luckily I made no major repairs/investments very recently (apart from new battery & tires one year ago).
