the car will automatically kick down into lower gears and downshift on its own into manual mode even though the car is still in drive. the car will not upshift. The only way to clear this while driving is to place the shifter in neutral and then back into drive.
There is no common thing I am doing that creates this condition, it will shift and drive normally then all of a sudden it just downshifts by itself.
