Door & Window Differences by Year?

My '73 450SL has spent the summer at what we thought is a good shop, dealing with driveability issues, suspension rebuild, etc.. It's ready to be picked up, but the shop says they didn't fix one item; the passenger door is not opening from the outside door handle, and the window won't power all the way up.
