I just bought a 04 Mercedes E500 4matic and the right side front and the right side rear bags were collapsed and I just got a new strut for the front and it says on a YouTube clip to apply 9 volts to the strut to collapse it so you can install it, however this strut will not collapse with 9 volts. I was wondering if anybody knows how many volts the on board computer sends to the strut when it is on the car? I don't want to put this strut on just to have it not work. I can get it to release...
