Hi everyone, a few days ago my 1998 E320 started making a fast tapping/rattling noise coming from the front end. It feels like it appeared with hot weather (it's around 80°F). The noise seems much faster than the engine's revelations.
The noise is present both when driving and when parked but only when the engine is warm. What's strange is the noise is only present at around 1000 RPM and completely disappears when the RPMs are higher or lower. The noise is very clear from the interior but...
