I just purchased a 1972 250C, in great shape but no motor and transmission. I found a 1972 slc 300 roadster 2D with a European 4.5 V-8 that was totaled but motor and transmission is good. I've seen lots of talk about putting in Chevy and ford motors, and won't rule that out but would rather stay somewhat original. Will the European 4.5 V-8 be a relatively easy swap into my 114 6 cyl engine bay?
