I have a nice mid 80 Mercedes OM 352 in my boat. Had it for 27 years after some years in a small bus.
I guess a total hours of running to less than 4000 hours and mostly running at less than 1800 rpm.
Had the injectors out last year for check/test and seemed OK for pressure opening as well as spread pattern.
Used the old copper seal for injectors after heating them, regret that but have not observed any problems at all before
replacing motor oil after some 100 hour running. Oil is not...
Diesel enters into the motor oil in my OM 352 mid 70 model.
