2004 ML500 AC or Compressor issue

Hello, Thanks in advance! I got a 2004 ML500, absolutely love it. I am having an issue with the AC. It seems like multiple things could be going wrong. Not sure. I took it to a Mercedes mechanic, he evacuated and recharged the system. Issue remained. He also attached a diagnose tool, couldn't see any code. My vehicle I believe does not have a clutch on the compressor. Also it does not have a fuse for the A/C or the compressor.
