420SEL engine rebuild or replacement options

I have a 91 420SEL (black on black) with 100K on the clock. Broke a chain guide and you know the rest. Does anyone know of anyone in North Texas (Dallas area) that might rebuild it? Any recommendations on sourcing a used or rebuilt engine? Metric looks fantastic but they want ~$12K. Thanks for your help, John
