Trick to open stuck glove box on 2003 SL500 !?

I saw a "how-to " on here of how to open a stuck glove box, but when I took of my side panel, it didn't look the same and have a "tension adjustment" mechanism. I have attached a photo. Is there another trick to getting this open ? I would appreciate any assistance with this ! Thank you very much ! -Dave
