Questions about shocks, struts and lowering my X204

Today I went to the local dealer and had the transmission oil and filter replaced (Whew BIG BUCKS), but I am a DIY'r and saved enough on the full brake replacement and oil change to take it. But the good (?) thing was my local dealer does a full inspection - unlike the phony dealer In Scottsdale, AZ I bought it from. The items weren't too bad, but they did say the front shocks were leaking and I should think about replacing them. I've been searching and can find struts and strut...
