Well, the new Harmonic Balancer - the Corteco one is now installed along with new 27mm bolt.
The removed unit was def the OE part from 22 years & 240,000 miles ago.
I suppose it COULD have been a replaced unit from the recall - but it DID have the old style 17mm Inset Hex head on it.
Can anyone say IF MB used that design Crankshaft bolt for recall jobs or would it have been the newer 27mm Normal Hex head bolt ?
