I recently acquired a 1991 230E W124 and has a 14 digit VIN on my registration papers. I had a look around the dash board, but couldn't find a VIN number anywhere. I also had a look on the driver side doors. There I found a number that's not the same as the VIN on the registration papers and also don't have the three letters before the numbers.
My VIN number is 1240236B351262
Should I just add WDB before the numbers?
