Hello,
I'm new to the forum but have been poking around for a while as I'm considering a 1998 SL500 (R129) that needs some TLC. I'm no stranger to wrenching on vehicles but it's not my day job. I'm looking forward to a vehicle I can enjoy while maintaining it on my own and teaching my boys the fun of getting some grease on their hands. Definitely hoping to avoid a money pit... This forum is a wealth of knowledge for DIY maintenance! Thanks to all of you for freely contributing your time...
