Recirculation flap noise C400

Whenever I turn on the AC recirc or the auto stop/start kicks on to activate recirc, I hear the (flap?) motor creak. I assume I can lubricate it, but does anyone know or have done this before? I also assume I need to remove the glovebox to get to it?
