Need help with radiator removal.

Happy new year all. Today I'm replacing the radiator in my 2002 ML500. Everything is disconnected and the old radiator is ready to come out. The problem I'm having is get the bottom "legs" out of the rubber grommets at the frame. Do I just pull up from the top or push up from the bottom? In all the videos I've seen they just pull the radiator out. Any help is appreciated.
