Painting Bundt Wheels: Don’t make this mistake!

I had my 15" ARC bundts professionally painted by a body shop with MB Astral Silver in a poly urethane. They look great, but there's a problem. When I took the wheels to a tire shop to get tires mounted the service man noted the fresh paint on the wheels where the lug bolts seat. He said that even if I torque the bolts correctly, I would need to check torque on them DAILY because the paint can cause them to loosen.
