86 560 SL, went to shut it off, removed key and it kept running. Put the key back in a few times and turned it to the accessories on point, didn't want to bump the starter motor. It wouldn't shut off. Noticed that the climate controls weren't working, pressed a bunch of buttons, they started working then tried to shut motor off and it worked. Haven't been able to replicate the problems but electrical gremlins usually return when you're not parked in your garage with spare.
