SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) and Fuse Block - Bad Connections

After suffering the common intermittent power to the AC blower motor issue (which often causes the control module to fail and/or the fuse socket to melt) I decided to disassemble it and see what the real issue was. My opinion: Poor design! Or... possibly intentional life expectancy cap? In basic electronics we learn running high currents through pinpoint connections results in excessively high temperatures, pitting, and accelerated failure. Why then would Mercedes-Benz engineers choose to... SAM (Signal Acquisition Module) and Fuse Block - Bad Connections
