I keep coming up with dumber and dumber ideas every day. I have two four speed 280se w126. It shouldn't be all that hard to swap the drive trains into the 1982 500sec, would it? Can anyone think of any dumber ideas?
Maybe the 300sel 5-speed would make more sense, but I feel that would be better into a 560sec chassis.
