I'm returning the K&N cone air filters,
instead bought 2 K&N panel type filters,
for the original MB airboxes.
tried them out yesterday.
all I can say is WOW! BIG POWER !
more power that the car ever had.
noticeable seat of the pants torque, speed.
the car is actually a little scary now !
they are more money, around $90 a pair w/shipping.
but well worth it.
the best price I found was carparts.com
don't mess around with aftermarket cone filters...
just put the K&N's in the factory...
