2007 S550 hard ride over bumps

Hi, My recently acquired S550 airmatic, with 160k kms on it, is very smooth on paved road, no vibration etc but a bit hard over bumps and uneven pavement. I had 2001 S500 before (all bought used) that was better at handling bumps and holes. Seems unexpected, only this aspect is underperforming, feels no better than Accord. Suspension OK, rises/drops on button press, mode selected to "C" (comfort), tires pretty new. Any hint? Thanks
