GLC 300 Purchase ?

Hi Guys, I own a 1997 SL 320 40th Anniversary Roadster, and although I'll never sell it, I would like to buy a small to medium size Mercedes SUV so I can carry larger items. Would the 300 GLC be a good purchase ? Thanks for Your Help ! Shannon
