I am trying to remove the alternator. I did this on the 325 before and didn't remember it was this difficult but on the 330i, when I turned the 17mm bolt in the back of the alternator, the red cable turned along with it. Not sure how to stop that cable from turning so I can remove the bolt/nut. Any suggestion?
