My 2005 SL is beginning to peel its topcoat similar to peeling skin from sunburn. This is happening only on the lower plastic parts but is happening all around the car. Disturbing. Anybody else experience this and is there a solution short of repainting the whole car? I keep it covered and well cared for but it lives in Florida and is subject to the Florida sun and salt air by the ocean. Any help?
