This regards my new-to-me, still-barely-driven-by-me 1989 300SE with 231k miles. One issue I've had since the first time I drove the car is, after it warms, it refuses to upshift. It did this as I drove it from it's PO to our warehouse: after 10 miles it refused to go into 4th, then after 3 more miles it refused to go into 3rd. The next day it stayed in 2nd gear. After sitting for a few days, it would shift fine until warm, when it would progressively stop upshifting again...
